This is a 38kHz universal infrared (IR) remote control featuring 21 keys and the NEC encoding format. It is compatible with a wide range of devices that have a USB port, such as stereos, car MP3 players, foot baths, lighting systems, digital photo frames, microcontroller development boards, and learning boards.
Equipped with a 38kHz infrared transmitter and a MOS integrated circuit, this remote follows the NEC transmission protocol. This format is widely supported by various IR receivers, including those used in TVs and VCD players. The NEC format consists of leader codes, 16-bit custom codes, and 16-bit data codes. The frequency of oscillation is determined by the crystal, and the IR LEDs emit 38kHz IR pulses, ensuring compatibility with most IR sensors.
