You can directly connect it to a computer’s USB port for battery charging. If a USB port is not available, you can use an external voltage source at the IN+/IN- pads, which is ideal for DIY projects. The module is compact and lightweight.
Additionally, the TP4056 module includes a current monitor, under-voltage lockout, automatic recharge, and two status pins to indicate charge termination and the presence of an input voltage.
