Basic Electronic Components
26 Teeth Universal Stainless Steel Extrusion Gear for 3D Printer
This extruder drive gear has 26 teeth and fits into extruder assemblies. It grips the 3D printing filament firmly and moves it towards or away from the hotend assembly. It can handle high torque without harming the filament, and it attaches easily to the shaft of NEMA 17 stepper motors. It helps with consistent extrusion.
These extruder drive gears are suitable for all types of 3D printer extruders. They move the filament into the melt zone when extruding and pull it back when the hotend is moving over the print bed. This results in smooth and consistent extrusion, better print quality, and less risk of clogging or other issues. This is a simple but essential part of the extruder system. It balances the back-pressure of the melted filament in the hotend assembly.
The extruder drive gear is designed for the TEVO Tarantula, but it can work with many other similar 3D printers, or even different machines. It is made of brass, which is durable but soft enough to protect the filament. It has a small size and does not need any extra modifications to fit.
