It also has improved functionality for printing soft and flexible filaments, thanks to the PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) liner tube that extends from the hotend to the extruder. This gives you more control and precision when printing with flexible materials.
The V6 hotend is designed to prevent overheating and melting failures that can occur with PTFE designs. The PTFE liner inside the hotend is never exposed to high temperatures, so it remains intact and reliable. The V6 hotend also has a compact and sleek design, with an overall length of only 62mm and reduced X/Y dimensions. The new injection moulded fan duct helps to cool the hotend and the printed part.
The V6 hotend is easy to install and remove, without the need for adhesives, Kapton tape, or soldering. The hotend components screw together securely, and the thermistor legs are insulated with high-temp glass sleeving. The fan duct clips on to the hotend and can be adjusted as needed.
